Masterwize was established in 1985 initially as Mastercare Cleaning Services. The cleaning service delivery and floor care programmes have been developed through the use of direct engagement with cleaners and with limited use of subcontracting.
This business philosophy did not change when the company was acquired by International food industry cleaning service provider Ecowize Group in 2007. In 2015, Mastercare was re-branded as Masterwize to better align the organisation to its parent company.
